Stan Lee has had a cameo in every MCU movie thus far. Will the late Marvel master appear in Avengers Endgame?

If for some reason you weren’t already convinced Avengers: Endgame was going to be an emotional affair, brace yourself for some heartbreaking news: Avengers 4 will feature the final cameo of the late Stan Lee.

Lee is considered the driving force behind Marvel’s Silver Age of comics and then man, in many ways, responsible for the most iconic and beloved comic book heroes and stories.

As his work began to be adapted and Hollywood got into superhero movies in a big way, Lee became known for his cameo appearances, as recognizable part of the franchise as the iconic title card. He appeared in every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie from Iron Man through Captain Marvel and will make his last cameo in Avengers: Endgame. Lee passed away on November 12, 2018, but director Joe Russo confirmed that his cameos had been filmed prior to his death.

In addition to the MCU movies, Lee made cameo appearances in X-Men films (X-Men, X-Men: The Last Stand, Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse and Deadpool 2), the Sam Raimi-Toby Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, the Marc Webb-Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies, Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer as well as a number of other movies based on Marvel comics (Blade, Daredevil, Hulk, Venom).
