High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs LAC – $10,500): Needs 43.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.4 fantasy points against LA Clippers. It’s Kevin Durant, who is still playing angry, in a closeout game on the Warriors. He should be easy money on Wednesday, given how he typically plays. The Clippers definitely don’t have an answer for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (at GS – $7,500): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.4 fantasy points against Golden State. Gallinari has been fine in this series and he’s your only other option at this position. I wouldn’t count on him for a big game but he should get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jae Crowder (at HOU – $4,700): Needs 19.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.3 fantasy points against Houston. I don’t know if you’re going to get the same kind of performance out of Crowder but it was nice of him to show up. I still like his game overall, he’s just not consistent with it. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Royce O’Neale (at HOU – $4,500): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.7 fantasy points against Houston. Much like Crowder, I like O’Neale’s overall game but he’s just not all that reliable. But he’s proven to be a good contributor and gets enough minutes to justify his low salary. It’s a slow night and the only other halfway decent option is Joe Ingles. And you don’t want Joe Ingles. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
