Growing up with an older brother you’re bound to endure some brotherly bullying, just ask Nick Bosa.

The Bosa family is obviously very talented, and while Nick Bosa and his brother, San Diego Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, are far from their roughhousing days, Nick definitely still remembers all the times his brother roughed him up a little bit.

“Joey was pretty mean when we were kids,” Bosa said. “He definitely toughened me up and I think that made me who I am today. Even though it wasn’t the best experience back then I kind of thank him for it now.”

While Bosa didn’t want to go into detail about the worst of what his brother put him through as kids, he admitted that there were several times where he had to run to his mom with teary eyes after something Joey did.

Although Bosa had typical sibling squabbles with his brother growing up, the two have clearly set their sights on tackling the opposition on the football field with the former Ohio State Buckeye projected to go in the top 3 of the first round during the 2019 NFL Draft, similar to his brother, who was drafted third overall in 2016.

Bosa doesn’t want to compare his success to his brother, or his father, who played in the NFL for three seasons with the Miami Dolphins after being drafted in the first round in 1987, but he knows natural rivalry will kick in between him and his brother throughout their careers.

Before Bosa takes the field though, he’ll need a team to suit up for, and while he hasn’t worn a Ohio State jersey in over a year, he’ll be repping the Buckeyes when he walks across the stage to shake the commissioner’s hand. While partnering with JCPenney and Collection by Michael Strahan the liner of Bosa’s suit will be fully customized to feature the Ohio State Buckeyes logo.
