The Monday Night Raw participants for the 2019 Money in the Bank include familiar faces and those looking to make a name for themselves.

With a little over three weeks away from Money in the Bank, the official participants for the ladder match for which the event was named are being announced. The final Raw of April started with last year’s women’s Money in the Bank winner, Alex Bliss, with the announcement of the men’s participants. They included:

Braun Strowman: Last year’s winner of the Money in the Bank contract on the men’s side, Strowman failed to cash in his prize successfully. Will the “Monster Among Men” be able to repeat his win and get a second chance at gold?

Drew McIntrye: Since making his return to the main roster early last year, McIntyre has been on a tear in the WWE tangling with some of the top names in the business. He has all the tools needed to make it to the top of the Raw men’s division, but he’ll have to make it to the top of the ladder first to claim the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Ricochet: There is no singular athlete working in the world of professional wrestling that can move the way Ricochet does. The former NXT North American Champion earned his way to the main roster of WWE with his work ethic and amazing aerial assault. Having Ricochet in a Money in the Bank ladder match is a highlight reel waiting to happen.

Baron Corbin: Corbin has been a prominent feature on Raw much to the chagrin of audiences world wide. His heel heat is thermonuclear after defeating Hall of Famer Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35. Corbin is no stranger to Money in the Bank, having won the match in 2017. But he was unable to successfully cash in the contract. He could possibly get a second chance in three weeks’ time.

Later on Raw, Bliss returned to announce the female participants in this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Naomi: Naomi is one of the best workers in the women’s division. The former SmackDown Live Women’s Champion put her talents on display in last year’s women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. She came up short in her attempt, but now that Naomi is on Raw maybe her luck will change.

Natalya: The Hart family are workhorses and Natalya is no different. She has appeared in both previous women’s Money in the Bank matches and now she’s set for the 2019 edition as well. Perhaps the third time’s the charm for this third-generation Superstar

Dana Brooke: Dana Brooke has been on quite a roll since stepping up to former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. Someone must’ve seen the hard work Brooke has been putting in to change her game and decided to give her a shot. It remains to be seen if it will pay off.

Alexa Bliss: Finally, “Little Miss Bliss” announced herself as the final competitor in the Money in the Bank match. Bliss won the MITB contract last year and successfully cashed it in the same night to become a three-time Raw Women’s Champion. Perhaps history is about to repeat itself. Bliss has been on the shelf for quite awhile with injury; a win at Money in the Bank might put her back at the top where she once stood.

One-half of the participants for Money in the Bank are decided, now it’s time to find out who is coming from Smackdown Live. The remaining eight entrants — four men, four women — will be announced on Tuesday night.
