With the ink drying on the 2019 NFL Draft, we turn our attention to next year, where there are some talented quarterbacks in our 2020 NFL mock draft.

The 2019 NFL Draft has come and gone, and while some teams certainly got better over the three-day event, some teams left us scratching our heads. That is the beauty of the NFL Draft, as it is not an exact science, and you never know what is going on behind closed doors.

As we say goodbye to another exciting draft season, it is never too early to start looking at the next one. Here is our very-early 2020 NFL mock draft.

59. . Quarterback. Alabama. Tua Tagovailoa. 1. player

During the 2019 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins got a quarterback, though they got one through a trade with the Arizona Cardinals. When the Cardinals made Kyler Murray the No. 1 overall pick on Thursday night, Josh Rosen’s fate with the team was sealed, and he was traded to the Dolphins on Friday.

Looking ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dolphins could be in the same seat as the Cardinals were this year, staring down the barrel of the first overall pick. Though they did get Rosen for a second round pick, he does not come with a ton of cost, so there is not any baggage if they decided to move on from him.

If Miami does hold the No. 1 overall pick, they will certainly have their eyes on Tua Tagovailoa, who is considered by many as the top quarterback in this draft class. Rosen will get an opportunity to show he can be the franchise quarterback for the Dolphins in 2019, but if they are picking No. 1, he definitely did not do enough to warrant them passing on Tagovailoa.
