Everything you need to know to prepare for you the upcoming edition of WWE NXT for May 1 on the WWE Network.

DISCLAIMER: WWE NXT is a pre-taped wrestling program, and results of the show have already hit the internet ahead of time. We will not be spoiling those results here at FanSided; thanks for reading.

We kick off the month of May with a new episode of WWE NXT on the WWE Network. The black-and-gold are looking to start off the month on the right foot with a huge main event as former New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Kushida will make his long-awaited NXT debut in the main event as he goes one-on-one with the Knock Out Artist, NXT UK’s own Kassius Ohno.

It had been quite a while since we have seen Ohno on NXT television since making the jump to the NXT UK brand earlier this year. He showed up in general manager William Regal’s office last week to request this matchup, which Regal was very quick to name the main event of tonight’s show. Will the Knockout Artist ruin Kushida’s NXT debut? Or will Kushida send Ohno back the United Kingdom with another loss under his belt? Tune in to find out!

Date: Wednesday, May 1st, 2019
Time: 8:00 pm EST
Location: Orlando, Florida
Venue: Full Sail University
Live Stream: The WWE Network

Speaking of things that happened last week, Adam Cole of the Undisputed Era accidentally cost his stablemate Roderick Strong a victory against current NXT Champion Johnny Gargano. The question that remains is, was it really an accident? It’s no secret that there have been issues bubbling between this group for weeks now. Will things finally come to a head tonight on WWE NXT?

But beyond that, here is the current line up of what we can expect to see this Wednesday night on WWE NXT:

– Mansoor goes one-on-one with Dominik Dijakovic
– The Forgotten Sons face Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch and Humberto Carrillo in six-man tag action
– The debuting Kushida squares off with Kassius Ohno in the main event
