Winner No. 7: A.J. Brown

Most in the fantasy community will be shocked to see Brown on this list, believing Brown to be a loser from the draft since he landed on the Tennessee Titans. However, it often helps receivers thrive when a team has a good running game. Michael Thomas of the Saints would not have nearly as many catches if teams did not have to seriously respect the team’s running game. In a similar way, Brown should find a bit more room to work since opposing defenses will be keyed on the Titans’ run game.

In addition, he faces virtually no competition for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart, but will play alongside an established young receiver in Corey Davis, whom teams must respect. Put all that together, and Brown should never face double teams, should be on the field for almost every snap, and should use his route running prowess to get open a lot. Yes, he still has Mariota as his quarterback, who hasn’t been as good as everyone anticipated, but there is still time for him to improve. Brown should be drafted in the middle rounds with confidence, and should go early in the first round of dynasty rookie drafts.
