League of Legends – The Breakdown

Hello again everyone! Freshie here and back with another ESports article but this time for another fan favorite, LoL or League of Legends! Now the betting for this game is actually more simpler for someone who may not know about LoL or even betting that much really. LoL is a computer game that pits two teams of five against each other in a hour or so long battle.

The goal in League of Legends is to knock down your opponents towers and destroying their Nexus. There are different lanes that players play in as different champions. You have top lane, mid lane, bottom lane which has two players in on both teams, one being a support and then you also have a jungler who bounces throughout the map. You merge items and weapons together to make your champion stronger which can give you the upper hand in battles.

While the battle is going on, you can use your team to attack the different elements of a dragon called “Drake” to gain team boosts. There is also a Rift Herald which is the ultimate dragon to take down which gives your team an incredible boost plus the small minions.

The goal of this game is to destroy majority of the towers and mainly the Nexus. In this Mid-Season Invitation Event, the two teams play a best of 1 series, a.k.a do or die. Each league and tournament will be different though and I’ll make sure to clarify before hand.

Now for betting on LoL, it is currently just set to the Money-line, a straight forward bet on who to win. Sometimes they do add in over and under on how many rounds they play. But currently, it is just the ML for now. Now good luck and lets win some green!

League of Legends – The Best Bets

Detonation Focusme (-115) vs. Intz E-Sports (-115)

This is a pretty easy bet and shouldn’t be so even in odds. Intz E-Sports has a 13% win-rate heading into this match-up and hasn’t won since 4 matches ago. Since their last win, they lost twice and had two draws in between.

The Detonation Focusme has a 64% win-rate but is coming off of a loss heading into this one. This match was suppose to happen on Thursday but it was postponed which adds to this fun filled invitational.

Bet To Place: Detonation Focusme (-115)

Vega Squadron (-275) vs. Mega (+205)

This could be a huge upset with Mega only having two official matches in the book heading in to this Mid-Season Invitation. They are coming off of a win versus Intz E-Sports but did lose Detonation Focusme.

The Vega Squadron are coming off of 4 straight wins versus Detonation Focusme, Intz, EPG and Gambit. All Mega needs is one lucky take-down of a lane and could dominate the rest of the way. This is actually a possibility that I’m willing to wing on.

Bets To Place: Fade unless feeling risky – Mega +205

Detonation Focusme (-200) vs. Mega (+155)

This is a revenge narrative if you are a fan of those as Mega has already gotten beat by Detonation Focusme on February 5th. Detonation Focusme beat Mega with 7 tower take-downs and 3 dragon kills. Both squads will be coming off of matches earlier in the morning but these are professional gamers who practice 12+ hours a day.

Mega will be the underdog in every single match they go in to until they put up a track record. This is a similar situation for them like it is versus Vega Squadron. I like Mega more versus Vega Squadron then this situation for them.

Bets To Place: Detonation Focusme -200 (*If Mega dominates Vega Squadron, potentially roll with their momentum here)

League of Legends – More Bets To Make

This will be a quick breakdown of each match as we already know the teams history and match-up.

Intz E-Sports (+150) vs. Vega Squadron (-195)

Vega Squadron has already taken Intz E-Sports down on Thursday 1-0. It was a pretty easy battle to for Vega Squadron as they took down 10 towers with 5 dragons also. It’ll be difficult for Intz E-Sports to keep up with Vega once again.

Bets To Place: Vega Squadron -195

Intz E-Sports (-180) vs. Mega (+140)

Mega is the underdog even though they have already beat Intz 1-0 with 9 tower take-downs and 4 dragons. Only way Intz can win this one is if they pull off the upset before this match-up with Vega Squadron. The underdog is the way to go with this.

Bet To Place: Mega +140

Detonation Focusme (+125) vs. Vega Squadron (-160)

The underdog here, Detonation Focusme, is coming off of 3 straight wins here, but did lose to Vega on Thursday to kick off this invitational. Focusme didn’t even put up a fight versus Vega Squadron as they only took down one tower to Vega’s 10. Basically a clean sweep. This isn’t the Group Stage so we should see a different Detonation Focusme.

Bet To Place: Detonation Focusme +125

Intz E-Sports (-115) vs. Detonation Focusme (-125)

A repeat of what will be kicking off this invitational and once again an almost even split. This entire match-up could be better then the first but we’ll have to wait for the contest to be played out. I’m probably going to fade this one until it’s almost time to lock in a bet which we could see different odds.

Bets To Place: N/A – Wait until closer to kick off of the game.

Mega (+210) vs. Vega Squadron (-285)

Another one that is similar to the repeat of Intz E-Sports versus Detonation Focusme. I’m going to lean towards Mega but I’ll also wait until it’s almost time for this one to kick-off too. If Mega has a a good run up until this one, they’ll be a favorite and odds may change. This one is solely up to you if you want to risk it before odds change but I’ll be waiting.

Bets To Place: N/A – Wait until closer to kick off of the game.
