Mike Fiers throws no-hitter, Pat Maroon wins it for Blues in double OT and other moments you may have missed on Tuesday night.

1. Mike Fiers throws second career no-hitter in A’s 2-0 victory over the Reds

On May 7 in Oakland, Mike Fiers went a stunning nine innings without giving up a hit—the second time in his career and 13th in Athletics history.

Even more impressive, the 131 pitches it took for him to complete the no-no was the most since… Mike Fiers threw 134 in his first career no-hitter in 2015. His no-hitter on Tuesday makes him only the 35th pitcher with multiple no-hitters in a career, including the postseason.

2. St. Louis Blues eliminate Dallas Stars in double overtime of game 7

The Blues advanced to the Western Conference Stanley Cup finals, the team’s first since 2016, after a 2-1 win over the Dallas Stars. The Blues got on the boards early in the first period thanks to a snipe from St. Louis defenseman Vince Dunn, but Dallas winger Mats Zuccarello scored later in the period to tie it 1-1. Fans were then treated to some phenomenal play between the pipes from Ben Bishop (52 saves, .963 save %) and Jordan Binnington (29 saves, .967 %) until St. Louis’ Pat Maroon sent the game-winner past Bishop with just under six minutes in double overtime.

3. Kris Bryant delivers walk-off homer for Cubs

Kris Bryant recorded his third career walk-off home run with a 3-run shot in the ninth inning. His dinger gave the Cubs a 5-2 win over the Marlins and reasons to celebrate at home plate.

4. Kahwi Leonard and the Raptors reek havoc against the 76ers in game 5

Kahwi Leonard had a dominant outing Tuesday night, recording 21 points, 13 rebounds and two steals in Toronto’s 125-89 romp of the 76ers. The Raptors head to Philadelphia for game 6 with a 3-2 series lead and a chance to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

5. Bryce breaks out of slump with a grand slam against the Cardinals

Bryce Harper has struggled at the plate this May, but he had quite the day on Tuesday in the Phillies’ 11-1 blowout of the St. Louis Cardinals. Harper mashed a 397-foot grand slam in the top of the second inning and would go 2-for-3 on the night, reaching base three times and scoring twice in the Philly win.

6. Justin Turner mashes three homers for six RBI

Justin Turner had himself a day on Tuesday in the Dodgers’ 9-0 win over the Braves. Turner would start his day off with a solo shot in the first, then follow that up with an RBI single in the second. Later he would hit another solo home run in the fifth and cap off his night with a three-run blast in the eighth.

7. Nuggets run over the Trail Blazers in a dominant game 5

Nikola Jokic recorded 25 points, 19 rebounds, and six assists in the Nuggets’124-98 win over Portland. They take a 3-2 series lead and earn a chance to close out the series heading into game 6 this Thursday.

8. Pete Alonso answers Padres with a go-ahead 2-run monster homer

After getting verbally and physically abused by Padres pitcher Chris Paddack  on Monday, Pete Alonso enacted some revenge on the Padres. His 449-foot moon shot in the ninth gave the Mets the lead and an eventual 7-6 win in San Diego.

9. Royals hit a pair of grand slams in 12-2 romp of Astros

The Royals took an early 2-0 lead before loading the bases for Ryan O’Hearn in the third inning. He hit a grand slam, but the Royals weren’t done yet and filled the bags again in the seventh. This time it was Whit (more like “Hit”) Merrifield delivering the 4-run blast, extending Kansas City’s lead and ultimately giving them the win.
