Here’s the previews and predictions for every match on the card at the 2019 edition of WWE Money in the Bank.

There used to be a filler pay-per-view or two between WrestleMania and Money in the Bank but the 2019 WWE calendar is switching things up a bit. Now we’re getting right after it just six weeks after the biggest show of the year.

While some of the booking has been crazy lately, both in good and bad ways, there are plenty of reasons to tune into WWE Money in the Bank this Sunday, May 19 on the WWE Network. Tell me Ricochet is in a ladder match, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins are wrestling one another and Becky Lynch is fighting twice and I’m in.

But before we get to all of that, let’s take a look at a few other things first, starting with the matches announced for the Kickoff Show.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match

Tony Nese (c) vs. Ariya Daivari

After dethroning Buddy Murphy from atop the WWE Cruiserweight Division at WrestleMania 35, Tony Nese now has a new contender in the form of Ariya Daivari, who’s been getting a solid push lately on 205 Live. It’s no surprise that the cruiserweights are once again on the Kickoff Show but that’s where the division is and will be for a while. This should be a solid matchup to start the night.

Prediction: I wouldn’t think creative would pull the title off of Nese just yet but after the long reign from Buddy Murphy, perhaps they’re looking to move the Cruiserweight Championship around a bit. So for kicks, I’ll go with Daivari with the upset victory here.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match

Daniel Bryan & Rowan (c) vs. The Usos

And here’s one of the examples of the crazy booking that’s been happening lately. So The Usos moved over to Monday nights in the Superstar Shake-Up. But then they get a match with Daniel Bryan and Rowan to crown new SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Then The Usos lose. They then get into a comedy rivalry with The Revival on Raw. But then they came to the blue brand again this past Tuesday to help Roman Reigns. Man, that’s one lucky wild card. They take the loss in the four-on-three handicap match and then it’s announced that they’ll be taking on Bryan and Rowan at Money in the Bank for the SmackDown tag titles. Okay then.

Prediction: While it would be fun to see the blue tag titles on the red show, I don’t see that happening. The most likely scenario sees The Revival come down to cost The Usos the match. Let’s go with that.
