DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 18, 2019
High Salary Forwards/Centers
Players costing over $8,333
Draymond Green (vs POR – $9,600): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Portland. Draymond’s salary has actually dropped despite his excellent Game 2. I will continue to love Draymond without Durant because he steps his game up and is tasked with doing more. And we know he can do a bit of everything. You should keep taking Draymond as he might be the more reliable player on the floor. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kevon Looney (vs POR – $5,400): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.5 fantasy points against Portland. Looney’s salary has jumped and that’s going to lower his ceiling just a bit in terms of his price. But the reliability is still there. He will continue to get the minutes and he will continue to find ways to contribute. The game moving to the road would be a problem if Looney wasn’t so experienced. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Andre Iguodala (vs POR – $7,200): Needs 32 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.75 fantasy points against Portland. Iguodala made the play of the game in Game 2 but the fantasy points were actually lower for him, which isn’t great. He’s still going to get the minutes and we know he can contribute in multiple areas. The problem is his salary has jumped and that makes him tougher to fit into your lineup. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
