The American Idol finale names the ABC show’s winner live. Here’s how to watch American Idol season 17, episode 18 live, on TV and online.

It’s time for the American Idol finale, so find out how to watch American Idol online or live tonight, because the ABC singing competition will be choosing its next winner.

Sunday’s episode will pick a winner, but TV fans will want to be tuned in because who wins will be decided during the episode — which is going to air live no matter what time zone you’re in. Viewers will get to choose between the three finalists, who will all perform again in one last attempt to get votes.

Of course, like every singing competition, the last episode will be packed with guest performers, including last year’s winner Maddie Poppe, fan favorite Adam Lambert, and previous winner Carrie Underwood. Judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry will all perform, too.

For the first time in Idol history, America’s live coast-to-coast vote will determine the winner of the iconic singing competition series, with all voting taking place during the show.The crowning moment will be preceded by special performances from music legends, including Idol’s very own superstar judges, the return of fan favorite contestants from the current season and a special visit by last season’s winner Maddie Poppe."
