Bayley has followed in the footsteps of Alexa Bliss as she is now the second woman to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and successfully cash in on the same night.

After a hellacious ladder match, Bayley bested seven other women to become the third woman to win the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Bayley last took out Mandy Rose, who was being helped up by her partner Sonya Deville, to claim the briefcase.

Another woman who had a rough night was the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch who had to defend both her titles in back-to-back matches.

Lynch, after successfully defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans, was immediately put into a match against long time rival Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Lynch looked to be close to a sweep until Evans returned and hit Lynch with her Women’s Right punch. Flair capitalized on Evans’ attack and hit Lynch with a boot to the face and rolled up Lynch for the win.

After the match Lynch attacked Evans but got swarmed by Flair and Evans working together. But when all hope seemed lost for Lynch, Bayley ran out and laid out both Evans and Flair.

Bayley stood in the ring for a moment as the crowd implored her to cash in her briefcase until finally grabbing the briefcase and cashing it in. Bayley then hit Charlotte with her elbow drop finisher to secure the win and the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Bayley seems to have settled into a more serious version of her character and this title win should solidify Bayley’s new persona and her place at the top of the card.
