5 burning questions the Patriots must answer in 2019

The New England Patriots may have won the Super Bowl last season, but they still have a few burning questions to answer if they hope to repeat and give Tom Brady an unprecedented seventh championship.

Much to the chagrin of the rest of the NFL, the New England Patriots’ dynasty appears to be alive and well. The Patriots won their sixth championship with a dominant defensive performance against the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII, continuing to add to the impressive legacy of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, arguably the greatest coach and quarterback duo in NFL history.

The rest of the league is working hard to catch up to New England, which is dealing with some significant personnel changes this offseason. Brady and Belichick are still around, but Rob Gronkowski retired and the Pats saw Chris Hogan, Trey Flowers, and Trent Brown depart in free agency.

The AFC East has also gotten more competitive as the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills took steps to improve their rosters in the offseason while the Miami Dolphins may have landed a potential franchise quarterback in Josh Rosen. New England remains the favorites to take home the division title, as they have every year since 2008, but they do have a few questions they need to address if they want to raise another banner at Gillette Stadium.
