The 2019 NFL season is still months away, but it is never too early to rank the 32 men who will stalk the sidelines as head coaches this season.

The 2019 NFL season is right around the horizon, as teams have already begun their offseason team activities. For many NFL franchises, there will be some new faces on the sidelines, as like every year, new head coaches will get their shot to try and turn around some franchises who have fallen on hard times.

Here is our power rankings of all-32 NFL head coaches in 2019.

team. 56. . . . Zac Taylor. 32

Former Nebraska quarterback Zac Taylor will get his first shot at an NFL head coaching gig in 2019, after spending the last two years with the Los Angeles Rams and Sean McVay. Seen as a disciple of McVay, the Cincinnati Bengals are hoping he has the same kind of impact on their franchise, as McVay had turned the Rams into a perennial playoff team in the NFC since taking over for Jeff Fisher.

For Taylor, this job will be quite a challenge, as the Bengals franchise did not win a single playoff game under former head coach Marvin Lewis, who was with the team for over 15 years. The son-in-law of former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman, Taylor has done a nice job working with quarterbacks at the NFL level, and will have a veteran at  his disposal in Andy Dalton in year one as a head coach.

The Bengals have some solid talent on both sides of the ball, and Taylor has some good weapons to work with on offense, including running back Joe Mixon and wide receiver A.J. Green. It will be interesting to see how he does in year one, but his former boss, McVay, had no issues adjusting to the NFL game, and hopefully for Bengals fans, some of that rubs off on his former quarterback coach.
