Highly anticipated games that are definite no’s or games for which we’re still holding out hope, these are the five games we wish were at E3 2019.

Every year, there are games we, as fans, want to see at E3. Sometimes, there is an announcement prior to the show stating whether or not those games will be there. Other times, there isn’t, and it’s hard to choose which is more disappointing. The fact that we know a game won’t be there or the fact that we hope we see a game and then it’s a no-show.

Regardless, developers and companies work hard to bring something worthwhile to the fans. Obviously, no one is disputing that. However, there are still games fans want to see and sometimes, those games don’t make the cut.

This list is all about that. It’ll mostly list games that are confirmed to not be at E3, even though we wish they were there. But, there will also be one or two games we wish were there and can’t say for sure, no matter how unlikely it may seem. It would definitely be a pleasant surprise.

1. Rocksteady’s new game

Rumors and speculation has been absolutely insane about Rocksteady Studios’ new game. Sadly, it won’t be making an appearance at this year’s show. Co-founder of the studio, Sefton Hill, confirmed this on Twitter.

Nobody knows exactly what the game is. For those who don’t know, Rocksteady is responsible for developing the Batman Arkham series. Most credit the studio for single-handedly revitalizing the superhero genre when it started to become stale and mediocre.

Because of the great work it has done with this series, it’s obvious fans want more. Some have speculated what game the studio is working on. There were rumors about a Superman game in the works, but that was debunked by Hill as well.

There have also been rumors of a Justice League game. Some even suggested it was developing the supposed Harry Potter open world RPG game that was leaked, but that’s also unlikely. Sadly, nobody knows at this point and we won’t be finding out at E3, which is unfortunate.
