Coby White has, arguably, the best hair in the 2019 NBA Draft, hair that simply cannot be contained within a small hat.

Coby White has what could arguably be the best hair in the 2019 NBA Draft. His hair is so good, that it was criminal for the NBA to make him wear the standard draft hat when he was selected. But the league did anyway, and that hat put in some serious work to stay on top of his head.

It was only a matter of time before NBA Twitter stepped in to deem White’s hair, and his struggling hat, as the first truly funny meme of the 2019 NBA Draft, including one that really caught my eye.

Yes, I have been advocating this for years!

Players hairstyles are evolving, and a simple baseball cap is not suitable for these new age ballers anymore. Why not do what the NFL, MLB, and NFL do and give them a jersey they can throw on?

Well, come to think of it, if they did that, we would have players walking around the arena wearing the wrong jersey, kind of like how the NBA had the players who were traded wear the team hat they were traded from.

How messed up would that look?

In any case, Coby White’s Draft cap struggle didn’t go unnoticed by the rest of NBA Twitter. Observe:

Yes, NBA Twitter clearly has no chill, and it’s been fun watching the announcers watch their step when it comes to Coby White’s hair. But I just can’t stop thinking about that cap, though. If caps could talk, I don’t what it would have said at that moment. What I do know is that White’s hair was just too good and too long for that hat.
