Everyone was under the impression that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson would be departing WWE this September when their contracts were up, but a new report suggests otherwise.

The last few weeks Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, collectively known as The Club (or, alternately the Good Brothers) have been featured rather heavily on WWE Monday Night Raw. Most people guessed it was being done to diminish their overall value since their contracts expire in a few short months. But if the latest report is any indication, the Good Brothers might be sticking around with WWE after all.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that there is a belief within the company right now that Anderson and Gallows have agreed to terms to sign new contracts to stay with WWE for years to come. This comes as a surprise to many as it was widely reported that they had turned down five-year WWE contracts that were offered to them earlier this year.

It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Anderson and Gallows would be AEW-bound in time for the company’s television debut with TNT in October. But a newly-renewed push alongside AJ Styles could prove to be just the thing to keep them in WWE for the foreseeable future seeing as how WWE is locking up all talent to five-year deals thus far in 2019.

While we wish the Good Brothers the absolute best in whatever they decide to do, we can’t help but be worried that this seemingly renewed push is only being done to get them to sign new contracts with WWE, only to have it halted the second they sign their new deals just to keep them away from AEW or any other company. Only time will tell if our fears regarding the situation prove true or not.
