DraftKings MLB Picks July 5: Masahiro of the Day

We have a large 13 game Friday slate for our DraftKings MLB tournaments. The Cubs, Indians, Reds, and White Sox are all off today. A rare Friday off! For the rest of us, we have a lot of top tier pitching and a solid middle tier. How do they match up against today’s opponents? Let’s take a look!

More from DraftKings

Rain: Washington(slight), Pittsburgh(slight), Toronto(slight), New York(very slight), Detroit(moderate), Atlanta(moderate)

Wind: 12 mph out to center in Houston

Hot/humid: Washington(both), Pittsburgh(both), New York(humid), Detroit(both), Atlanta(both), Houston(both), Phoenix(blasted hot), Los Angeles(humid)

The oppressive humidity will likely get the roof closed in Houston, and the rain chance could close the roof in Toronto. July rainouts are rare, so most of the rain chances are pop up showers. We will have to keep an eye on those areas, especially Atlanta and Detroit, throughout the day.

My all day line was good, but the early was the only other one that cashed thanks to Sanchez and the Nats stack. Ryu was solid, but Canning and Soroka were not.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
