For the first time in New Japan Pro Wrestling history, Night 1 of the G1 Climax tournament will take place on American soil. Here’s all you need to know about G1 Climax 29 Night 1 including how to watch.

The annual NJPW G1 Climax tournament is in its 29th year. And, for the first time ever, the first night’s events are taking place outside of Japan. Night 1’s set of A-Block matches and special attraction bouts come live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, July 6.

The show will feature five A-Block matches and four additional matches, including a six-man tag featuring the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger. KENTA will also look to make his mark in NJPW in his A-Block meeting with Kota Ibushi. And a potential match of the tournament marks the night’s main event, with Kazuchika Okada taking on Hiroshi Tanahashi.
