The College Football Preview is an early look at each College Football position heading into the 2019 fantasy CFB season.

College Football Preview Rankings are based on prior performance, as well as common expectations heading into the 2019 season. We start, with Running Backs!

As we hunker down for the mid-summer classic this week, the MLB All-Star game, now seems like a good time to provide a College Football Preview. Like me, many of you will be flipping through sports channels desperately looking for any live sports this week.

Fortunately, while not an immediate fulfillment, the 2019 Division I-A season kicks off Saturday, August 24th with a 7pm game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. We’re spoiled with a fantastic inter-Florida match-up between two Sunshine State powerhouses, the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes.

Later that evening, the Rainbow Warriors of Hawaii will host a tough Arizona Wildcats team in Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, HI. So, we’re really lucky to have two solid match-ups early in the CFB season, followed by a marathon of games the following Thursday, August 29th into Labor Day, Monday, September 2nd.

If you’re like me, looking at these pending games immediately triggers the thoughts of fantasy football. While the NFL is mostly king of fantasy sports, college football lurks in the background as fun Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and season-long fantasy league options.

So, while it’s early, I’d like to start talking about who the top players at at each position. Hopefully this puts you in a more informed position when you begin doing season-long Fantasy CFB drafts, or as you prepare for the CFB DFS season.

Let’s take a look!
