Here is everything you need to watch the July 8, 2019 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, via an online stream.
Last week, we saw a shift of a new era as Paul Heyman is transitioning to his new role as Executive Director of WWE Raw. One of the biggest signs of that was the opening match between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley, which saw the two collide through the set and cause a historic scene. But that was last week.
This week, we have the return of a former World Heavyweight Champion. Rey Mysterio has been out of action since having to forfeit the United States Championship back to Samoa Joe. Mysterio will make his return to Monday Night Raw this week, and ready to get back into the mix. What will happen when the legendary masked star comes back to action?
We have an inter-brand mixed tag match coming up this week. Universal Champion Seth Rollins will team up with his girlfriend, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. They will face off against SmackDown! Live stars Andrade and Zelina Vega. This should prove to be a little more interesting to watch, considering last week’s debacle of Maria Kanellis announcing her pregnancy to the world in the middle of her tag match with her husband Mike Kanellis. With Extreme Rules coming up next Sunday in Philadelphia, you can almost expect Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans to be hanging around somewhere. Can Rollins and Lynch keep their focus on their blue brand opponents?
The WWE Universe was stunned when The Undertaker made his return recently on Raw. We now know that the Dead Man will team up with Roman Reigns to face Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules. But before we get to Philadelphia, McMahon has hand-picked a teammate for Reigns as he faces Shane-O-Mac and McIntyre this week. And to cap it off, McMahon has already ruled that if The Undertaker shows his face in the match, he’s OUT of the tag match next Sunday. Who has he selected as Reigns’ partner, and what effect will that have on him?
