DraftKings MLB picks July 13: Believe the hype with Morton

What would a DraftKings MLB slate be like if we didn’t have weird splits? There are 15 games today, but the White Sox and A’s are playing a matinee on the left coast. Instead of adding that to the three game early DraftKings MLB tournament, they left it off entirely, exiled to showdown/all day slates only.

More from DraftKings

DraftKings also lopped off the Mets/Marlins tilt – with Thor and Zac Gallen with it – because they had the audacity to start an hour earlier. They opted instead to add the second game of the Rays-Orioles double dip to the 11 game main DraftKings MLB slate. This game is not in the all day, however.

Rain: Chicago(slight), Cleveland(very slight), Arlington(very slight)

Wind: 12 mph out to right in Cleveland, 12 mph out to right in Arlington

Hot/humid: Baltimore(hot), Chicago(hot), Miami(both), Cleveland(hot), St. Louis(hot), Kansas City(hot), Arlington(both), Denver(hot), San Diego(humid)

Hot, humid, and the wind blowing out in Texas? YEE-HAW! The roof should be closed in Miami due to sweltering conditions. The Cleveland weather is very hitter friendly as well.

I had Mike Trout in every lineup last night, so all but one cashed. That included two with a horrid Dylan Bundy in them and one that had Turnbull and Vargas as my pitchers. Trout/Devers/Yordan Alvarez did me well.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
