Welcome to my FanDuel MLB DFS breakdown for the 7/15 main slate! This article will help you condense your player pool and build your optimal cash and GPP lineups on FanDuel.

Happy Monday MLB DFSers and boy does it feel great to be back in the saddle for MLB DFS! After a week-long hiatus in Miami and Chicago, I’ve been itching to dive back into some MLB breakdowns and I’m happy to be starting my week off with an article for FanSided.

For those of you unfamiliar with my breakdowns, today is your lucky day, as I will be switching them up just a bit. Instead of listing my normal pairing of the top cash and top GPP plays at each position, I am going to go position by position and offer my top overall play, followed by my favorite value play at the position.

This will, in turn, help you build an optimal lineup or two around this article, instead of digging for value plays that weren’t listed in the article. I will also still be including a shortlist of “honorable mentions” at each position. These are plays that are viable in both cash and GPP games, but ultimately could not be justified as my top play.

When it’s all said and done, you’ll have a condensed player pool that should hopefully cut your research time significantly when building your lineups.

We’ve got a healthy 10-game slate on tap with not a single pitcher priced at $10k or higher along with another juicy Coors Field game. There should be plenty of offense on this slate, so the fact that my favorite pitching target comes at a discount only makes me more confident in building some lineups.

With that said, let’s get to the breakdown!
