Early DraftKings MLB picks July 18: Blue Jays on Sale

It’s a busy Thursday in MLB land with 12 games total. Four matinees make up the early DraftKings MLB slate today. We aren’t lacking for pitching though. This may be a tiny slate, but it is stacked with pitchers!

More from DraftKings

First, the weather. It’s going to be very humid and hot in Miami, so the roof may be closed. That only helps the pitchers if that is the case. Once again, it’s warm and humid in Philly, so the balls could keep flying there. It’s going to be very humid in Boston with a decent chance of rain, but the temperature isn’t that high. It’s a sultry one in Kansas City again with the heat index well over 100 again by game time. At least the 16 mph breeze could cool it off, but it is blowing straight out to left. Enjoy that right handed power!

Yesterday afternoon both Grays were awful, so I didn’t come close to the cash line. Most of the hitters worked out, but Jon Gray losing points ruined me.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
