team. 2367. . . . UAB Blazers. 23

When UAB saw its football program shuttered in 2014, it deprived college football of one of the most fun mascots across all divisions. The Blazers, with Nike at the time the program was put on hiatus, returned to the field in Under Armour gear three years later. With both companies, the key to their look has been one of the greatest logos in the sport.

UAB employs their sleek dragon logo to great effect, both in its original coloration as well as in various modified versions. Take, for instance, the stylized helmets like the ones worn above in the 2014 contest against Dak Prescott and Mississippi State. They have also had fun with monochromatic versions of the dragon.

That logo, in all its iterations, is a great accent to any uniform the Blazers choose to wear on a given Saturday. Most frequently donning forest green and gold, UAB has also tried out a charcoal-and-lime-green number, all-green looks, and more classic versions of their look.

Now back and established once again on the gridiron, UAB has restored one of the best uniforms in football. While their color scheme somewhat resembles similar looks by Baylor and several other schools, the Blazers still take preeminence in that regard thanks to that versatile, magical logo that adorns every combination.
