Georgia Tech is a team whose uniform has gone through some massive transitions over the past few decades. Yet even with the various shifts in their look, there is something about the Yellow Jackets uniforms that makes their appearance feel timeless.

The base is gold and white, with ample use of deep navy blue for the numbering. In recent years they have hearkened back to the 1990 team that split the national championship, wearing navy jerseys with white pants as a nod to that historic roster. They have also played around with incorporating elements of their mascot into the uniform, such as the honeycomb pattern that occasionally appears on the Georgia Tech helmets.

There have also been bigger shifts in the color schemes used in the uniform designs throughout the 21st century. Bouncing between more vibrant yellows and various shades of gold, the muted look of their most recent vintages have presented an understated and distinctive look.

Black jerseys, reminiscent of the Bill Curry era in Atlanta, have also made a comeback in the Georgia Tech wardrobe in recent seasons. At the heart of their look, though, is ample use of midnight-blue numerals and text, trimmed in gold and popping against the white of the jerseys.
