Air Force, like its service academy rivals, has a simple yet distinctive look that fits its identity as a branch of the armed forces. While they are a team that relies heavily on the ground game, their uniforms tend to embrace the high-flying nature of their primary mission in the U.S. Air Force Academy.

The traditional color scheme of blue, silver and white sets them apart from other Mountain West foes, especially once BYU left the league and moved on to independence. All they need is a simple lightning bolt down each side of their white helmets to identify themselves. That look has carried over into alternative uniforms such as their 2014 ensemble complete with a metallic lid.

Just like their fellow service academies, Air Force has also embraced a range of military-inspired alternate uniforms in recent years. Last year, the Falcons paid tribute to the AC-130 class of airplanes with a special helmet to go with black and silver jerseys and pants.

Between their traditional color schemes and a willingness to experiment with alternatives, Air Force continues to feature among the best-dressed teams in the country. At any level, they stand up among the most stylish teams in college football.
