5 players being over-drafted in fantasy football

Fantasy football ADP check: Players being over-drafted
5. Alshon Jeffery, ADP 7.10
Jeffery has been a solid wide receiver for what seems like a decade. He recently turned 29, but it seems like he is much older. He has always been a plodder but has always been able to use his big body and good hands to snag contested catches.
On the one hand, he will still be able to do that. On the other hand, he is likely slowing down with age, does not have Nick Foles locking onto him anymore, and must battle many others for targets. That list includes Zach Ertz, second-string tight end Dallas Goedert, newly arrived DeSean Jackson, rookie JJ Arcega-Whiteside, and Nelson Agholor. On top of that, the Eagles drafted Miles Sanders, who can catch, and just brought back receiving back Darren Sproles.
That is a lot of competition for targets, and there simply won’t be enough targets for Jeffery to justify his seventh-round price tag. Instead, consider grabbing a player there like Dante Pettis, who has a clear path to the No. 1 role on an up-and-coming 49ers team.
