One of the founding members of the WWE women’s revolution has found a new home as Tenille Dashwood has officially signed with IMPACT Wrestling.

The news dropped on July 29, with IMPACT Wrestling announcing on Twitter that Tenille Dashwood has signed with the promotion as well as the date of her debut for the company. Dashwood will debut when the company embarks to Mexico City for shows on August 15 and 16.

Dashwood has bounced around from promotion to promotion since her departure from WWE back in 2017 but had yet to find a solid home base. Dashwood was a monumental signing for Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor brand but she seemed to fade into the background of the company as no emphasis was placed on her or WOH.

Dashwood did have to take an extended amount of time off to deal with a severe bout of psoriasis during her time with the company and wasn’t back long from her hiatus before she suffered a shoulder injury and had to take time off again to undergo surgery.

Dashwood left ROH in March of this year and returned to full time competition this July.

The former Emma (and Emmalina) in WWE looks to make a major impact (pun intended) in her new company, as she joins a currently stacked Knockouts division. Dashwood will be diving headfirst into the lion’s den as she will be on the same roster as current women’s wrestling standouts Jordynne Grace, Su Yung, Taya Valkyrie, Jessicka Havok, and the ace of the division, Tessa Blanchard.

“Diamond sharpens diamond” is the expression and it could be very true for Dashwood’s IMPACT tenure as she could showcase herself in a massive way that she hasn’t been able to since her time in NXT.

IMPACT has put an emphasis on women’s competition and has been highlighting their women well, so if Dashwood lives up to expectations then there will surely be a time and a place for her to shine within their show and potentially become a championship contender.
