Matchday 1 of the new English Premier League season continues Sunday with 6 more teams taking the field for the first time.  We only have a 3-game slate, but there’s still an opportunity to win.  Keep reading my EPL DFS Breakdown to see how to conquer this slate.

In contrast to Saturday’s EPL DFS slate, we actually have 3 big clubs in action and 5 of the 6 teams playing finished in the top half of the league last season.  Arsenal (-0.5) take the crown as the largest favorite on Sunday on the road against Newcastle.

The other two games on the slate are expected to be very even with Manchester United being slight favorites at home against Chelsea and likewise for Leicester at home against Wolverhampton.

All goal totals for these 3 games are currently set at 2.5, confirming my suspicion from my last article that that’s standard for all week 1 games.

Again, like my last article, I would normally include team and player news here.  However, I’m not going to review all the summer moves for you, but if you weren’t following it’s not a bad idea to check out some of the summer transfer moves.
