Main DraftKings MLB picks August 10: Can’t whack Paddack

We have ten games for our main DraftKings MLB tournament tonight. The early DraftKings MLB slate had some good pitching, but the main DraftKings MLB slate is absolutely loaded. We are going to have to sift through some stats and trends to figure out who is worth using. The weather could also help with that.

More from FanSided

Rain: Minneapolis(slight, higher as game goes on)

Wind: NONE

Hot/Humid: Milwaukee(humid), Minneapolis(humid), St. Louis(both), San Diego(humid), Seattle(humid)

There is a pretty good delay threat in the later innings in Minneapolis, but it should be after both starters have gone at least five innings. Watch the weather report. There’s a chance this doesn’t hit until after the game is over. Otherwise, it’s good weather in most places with St. Louis having the best hitting weather.

I hit with two Red Sox stacks, but poor performances from Brad Keller, Drew Smyly, and Tyler Beede kept those lineups from being really good. Oh well, I still game out ahead. No exposure to Walker Buehler hurt the bottom line.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.

Thunder Dan uses advanced metrics. Lumberjack uses a lot of pitch data. Tulloch uses a lot of leverage plays. Joe Metz and Juan Bond give you all the value plays. Between all of us, you can build a beast of a lineup on any site!
