MLB DFS Pitching Plays

As we always do, I will rank each pitcher mentioned in my article between a 1-10, I will also mention my “gem of the day” which is a mid-low tier arm that I think has the most upside. There are several ways to approach this main slate.

With these Sunday slates, we sometimes have random players taking rest days, which is always something to monitor because when a key player sits, it can open up an opportunity for a player that you might not have originally been looking at.

I will most likely be playing JV, and not much else of anyone else. In cases where we have such a clear cut, obvious stud pitcher, you have to cram him in and find value with the hitters. Even in GPP’s I will still role him out tomorrow just due to his raw point projection.

MLB DFS Pitching Rankings:

Justin Verlander – 10

Luis Castillo – 9

Mike Minor – 8

Chris Bassitt – 9.5

Gem of the day – Bassitt

If you guys have any questions please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @LumberjackDFS, this is a great slate for pitchers which I am very excited to play.

A good bit of advice is to run these plays in different tourney lineups, with various stacks, and correlate your lineups to maximize your chances of winning a tourney.

Best of luck to all from all of us here at FanSided Fantasy.
