Main DraftKings MLB picks August 14: Nothing but Kershaw

There are only six games for our evening DraftKings MLB tournament. This is still labeled as the main slate, but it if far less exciting than the early one. However, it’s not often that we get a DraftKings MLB slate with decent pitching an no Coors. I almost forgot how to attack these!

More from FanSided

Rain: Philadelphia(moderate), Detroit(very slight), Miami(slight), Atlanta(very slight)

Wind: NONE

Hot/Humid: Philly(very humid), Detroit(humid), Miami(miserably hot and humid), Atlanta(both), Kansas City(humid)

The Philly game faces delays at any given time. The threat here is all pop up thunderstorms as well. The game should play, but keep a close eye on it to see if pitchers can be used. It’s too early to tell now.

My May-Flaherty lines all cashed. Not having Quintana hurt the bottom line though. My Flaherty-Fried line with a hybrid Yankees-Arizona stack was the highest scoring of the night.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.

Thunder Dan uses advanced metrics. Lumberjack uses a lot of pitch data. Tulloch uses a lot of leverage plays. Joe Metz and Juan Bond give you all the value plays. Between all of us, you can build a beast of a lineup on any site!
