Main DraftKings MLB picks August 17: deGrom’s the bomb!

We have a solid nine game slate for our DraftKings MLB tournaments tonight. It seems weird since the Cincinnati game is part of the early tournament, but is only two innings old when the main DraftKings MLB slate starts. Not complaining though. I’d much rather have all games included in one way or another. DraftKings did that today.

More from FanSided

Rain: Boston(slight), Kansas City(moderate in later innings)

Wind: 12 mph in from left in Denver, 12 mph in from right in Arlington

Hot/Humid: Washington(both), Philadelphia(both), Boston(very humid), Kansas City(miserable…heat index well over 100), Atlanta(hot), Arlington(hot), Phoenix(hot), Los Angeles(humid)

There are great hitting conditions with a heat wave on the east coast back through KC. The rain threat in Kansas City is pop up storms. The game will play, but there is a risk of a delay in the middle innings.

Most of the pitching did well last night. Castillo was about the only dud of my picks. Musgrove’s voodoo continued against the Cubs. I rode him Verlander, Corbin, and Gray to cash in a few lineups, but still came out a little behind due to failed Rays, Mets, and Astros stacks.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
