DraftKings CFB picks August 24: Which QB do you want?

The wait is over! The college football season begins in about 80 hours! We have been waiting all summer for this. For those of us that can’t get enough, there is a DraftKings CFB contest for the season kickoff.

More from DraftKings

We only have two games to choose from so getting separation in your lineups is going to be hard to do. That can mean using a crazy pick against a great defense. That can mean guessing right on one of a committee of backs or receivers.

We will try to give a few options at each position. Due to regulations by DraftKings, I cannot provide a sample lineup, but any lineups I use will be formed from players mentioned in this piece. Once you start building a lineup for yourself, you can see how it all fits together.

The scoring for NCAA football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. DraftKings CFB scoring realizes that!
