The NBA Rookie Survey is an annual exercise in eye-rolling nonsense. Don’t worry, we know how to fix it.

With the results of the new NBA Rookie Survey, fans are now able to see who the incoming class of NBA players believe will have the best career, win Rookie of the Year, and who among them they think is the most athletic.

While these answers are interesting and, more often, mystifying, they fail to reveal much about what makes each rookie class unique, as a whole or as individuals. Accordingly, I have taken it upon myself to come up with my own rookie survey that may not tell us as much about their on-court expectations, but will at least answer some burning questions I have that could potentially shed light on just what exactly these young, future faces of the league care about and what makes them who they are. If anyone at league headquarters is reading this and wants to reach out in order to talk further about amending the existing rookie survey, my DMs are open.
