Examining Antonio Brown’s Situation

Antonio Brown’s name has been swirling around the news in recent months and constantly making some big headlines in the process. From forcing a trade with the Steelers, to frostbitten feet, to grievances against the league with his helmet, Brown has been the center of attention.

Unfortunately, it is not in a good way, especially when you won’t know what could happen with him from day to day.

Brown’s talent is unquestionable, and when he is on the field, there are not many other wide receivers who could rival his ability. He’s usually a safe bet for some high-end production in fantasy on a weekly basis, but his recent actions have put some doubt in a lot of fantasy manager’s heads.

I don’t want to tell anyone to avoid drafting Brown because the fact is, he is still a good player, but I urge everyone to proceed with some caution if you are willing to draft him.

Unlike the running back draft class, the wide receiver talent-pool is much deeper for fantasy’s standards. This, in turn, gives you a wide selection of receivers to choose from in case a crazy scenario breaks out with Brown during the middle of the season.

With all the negative attention surrounding Brown right now, one can’t help but wonder what’s the next incident that might arise with him. Brown has claimed he is all in to help the Raiders win football games which is a good sign, but it is always a good idea to plan in case something changes. The NFL is such an unpredictable universe and no one can tell what’s going to happen with every player from one day to the next.

With that said let’s have a plan in place in case something happens to one of the most prolific pass catchers we have seen.
