Tailgating at Tennessee games is a special feeling, but if you’re seen in any color orange other than PMS 151 from the Pantone Matching System, you’ll likely catch some flak. After all, Tennessee football hasn’t been all that great the past decade, so things like the shade of orange one wears is a major debacle.

Neyland Stadium is one of the largest capacity venues in college football, seating 102,000 fans; some Volunteers, others just volunteers to fill the seats. Regardless of the team’s success, though, Tennessee fans support their program in waves.

An easy non-conference schedule fills the Vols’ early homestand at Neyland with Georgia State, Brigham Young and Chattanooga up in the first three weeks of the season. Georgia, Mississippi State, South Carolina, UAB and Vanderbilt will also travel to Knoxville to square off with the Volunteers when SEC play begins.
