Kenny Omega faces PAC at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, with PAC replacing an injured Jon Moxley.

It wasn’t supposed to go down this way. AEW‘s All Out pay-per-view was supposed to feature Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley. The storyline built up, fans clamored for it and then it hit a wall. Moxley has an infection in his elbow that requires surgery and was forced to pull out of the fight. Omega’s reaction can be seen on the first five minutes of Being the Elite episode 167.

Omega was set for Moxley and was clearly not happy with how things turned out. However, when Moxley returns, the storyline is ripe for picking up where it left off. In the meantime, Omega now has to prepare for someone very different in PAC.

Instead of facing someone physically bigger than himself, Omega now faces someone smaller. Not only is the size very different, PAC has a very different style than Moxley. PAC is a high-flyer who isn’t afraid to take risks. He will climb the ropes and attack from the air, something Moxley isn’t known for.

But Omega is an experienced fighter, one who has been around for decades and is one of the top wrestlers in the world. He is more of a mental fighter who will get in his opponents’ heads and cause them to make mistakes. But he is also physically strong and agile, making those aerial attacks from PAC subject to misses and landing flat-faced in the ring, ripe for a pin.

The match between Omega and PAC is going to be very different than what was anticipated between Omega and Moxley. It won’t be a hard-hitting, knock-down type of fight. It will be more mobile with PAC taking to the air and Omega evading and countering to knock PAC to the ground. Omega’s goal will be to keep PAC grounded and use his hard-hitting experience to bring him down. PAC’s goal will be to nail Omega from the air with a Red Arrow.

No matter who comes out as the victor, the fight will still be fun to watch.
