Here’s the recap of all the high-flying action you may have missed from this week’s episode of 205 Live. Watch the Cruiserweights every Tuesday night at 8 PM ET on the WWE Network.

Even though it’s time for 205 Livewe’re still getting Smackdown Live aftermath from Rowan laying out Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.

Earlier on Tuesday, Drake Maverick made a match between Lince Dorado and Humberto Carrillo. If Dorado wins, he’s added to Carrillo and Gulak’s match at Clash of Champions for the Cruiserweight Title.

During Smackdown, several 205 Live competitors tried to win the 24/7 Title from their general manager.

Tony Nese vs. Mike Kanellis

Both Tony Nese and Mike Kanellis could use a victory; it all comes down to who wants it more. Vic Joseph asks Nigel McGuinness if he has any updates on the relationship between Kanellis and Maria. McGuinness is offended and won’t say. Maria is shown watching the match backstage. Early on, Kanellis has control of the match.

Commentary discusses how 205 Live has one of the smallest rosters, but it’s one of the best. Nese gains momentum and control over Kanellis as a worried Maria looks on. Nese does a hurricanrana and nearly beats his opponent. He comes close again after diving over the top rope and then hits a 450 Splash.

After superkicking Nese, Kanellis plants and pins him. McGuinness exclaims that it was because of the power of love for his wife, child and unborn baby that Kanellis was able to finally win.

Backstage business

Ariya Daivari congratulates Dorado on his match. He claims it’s because of him that Dorado has a match tonight. Dorado defends his Lucha House Party brethren and calls Daivari a leech. After he wins, he’s going to call Kalisto and Gran Metalik to apologize.

The Singh Brothers are a week into their sessions. They’re breaking ground on their studies. Akira Tozawa and The Brian Kendrick are the reason that they’ve been having problems. Once they figure out all their problems, they’ll show them “lights, camera, and the Bollywood action.”

The Brian Kendrick & Akira Tozawa vs. Brandon Scott & Tyler Hastings

Kendrick was scheduled to face Jack Gallagher last week, but was not medically cleared. Kendrick and Tozawa are in sync against enhancement talent. Most of commentary’s focus is on Kendrick and Gallagher’s issues.

Hastings and Scott get in some offense, so it isn’t a total squash. This match was to show that Kendrick and Tozawa are on the same page. Kendrick gets the pin.

Kendrick calls out Gallagher for being a no-show. He talked to Maverick and he has a tag match against Gallagher next week. Gallagher can choose his opponent.

Backstage brawl

Oney Lorcan is being interviewed by Sarah when Tony Nese comes back and starts trashing the hallway. Lorcan tells Nese he’s been there before he’s attacked.

Lince Dorado vs. Humberto Carrillo

Over the last few weeks, Dorado has been questioning Carrillo’s Lucha style. Even when they teamed together, there was still some tension.

McGuinness says Gulak suffers from this match. The duo answer each other early on with neither having the advantage over the other. They stand forehead to forehead and start jawing before Dorado slaps his chest. They exchange a few slaps. Dorado DDTs the Latin Lion onto the floor and the “205 Live!” chants starts.

Dorado nails a splash and nearly pins Carrillo. He keeps the offense going with a camel clutch. Carrillo drills Dorado in the face with a missile dropkick. He follows with a standing moonsault. Carrillo launches himself over the top rope onto the Golden Lynx and is rewarded with a “205! 205!” chant.

Carrillo nearly gets the win, but a determined Dorado kicks out. Dorado goes for the Golden Rewind, but its foiled. He nearly pins Carrillo with a reverse ‘rana. Carrillo follows up with a powerbomb and Dorado just gets a shoulder up. The crowd is once again vocal with a “Lucha!” chant.

The crowd is firmly behind Dorado as he chops Carrillo continuously. Carrillo makes a comeback. Dorado hits a gut buster and then a shooting star press, but can’t make the cover. Carrillo rolls out of the ring. Carrillo cradles Dorado, but Dorado counters and gets the win. He will now be added to the Cruiserweight tile match.

He’s immediately attacked by Drew Gulak. Tony Nese plows down Carrillo. He makes eye contact with the champion and they both continue to attack Gulak’s opponents. Nese helps Gulak by putting Carrillo on his shoulders so he can wreck him once more. Gulak holds up his title with Nese by his side.
