Draftkings NFL GPP pivots: Tight End

Chalk: Travis Kelce, George Kittle, Hunter Henry

Pivots: Evan Engram, Zach Ertz

Tight End is a position that is going to be extremely chalky this week with the top tier of talented pass catchers soaking up the majority of ownership. I have no problem using Kelce, Kittle, or Henry this week but just understand that in doing so you are eating some serious chalk.

Evan Engram is the one guy who looks the least chalky of these elite tight ends. He’s a lot cheaper than Kelce and Kittle and looks like he could be 5-6% less owned than the cheaper Henry. The Giants offense could struggle on Sunday, but with limited weapons available to him I expect Eli Manning to target Engram and Barkley a lot in the short passing game. Engram emerged as a major threat in the passing game last season and his athleticism allows him to line up in the slot or at wide receiver, too.

As long as Carson Wentz is quarterbacking the Eagles, Zach Ertz should be on your radar every week. It’s no secret that Wentz looks for Ertz often and the two have developed some great chemistry in their limited time together. No one is talking about the Philly offense this week despite the fact they are implied for nearly four touchdowns against the Redskins. And while we don’t know which running back or receivers are going to be featured in this offense, we definitely know that Ertz is going to be a big part of it. He’s projected at a third of the ownership or Kittle and Kelce and always has massive upside with his target volume and touchdown equity.
