FanDuel NFL GPP Breakdown: Week 2 main slate

Buffalo Bills  – This was a section that we had great success in last week. The Jets defense were my favorite on the day, and they put up 18 points at 3% ownership. Well, this week I really like the Bills against the Giants. Last week, they shut down the Jets allowing only eight points recording 4 sacks and a fumble. Now lack of turnovers can be attributed to Darnold refusing the throw the ball downfield, and Bell handling most of the offense. You do have to worry about Barkley in this match-up, but I think that the Bills will be up in this game early, forcing Eli to throw much more often. When Manning throws, turnovers will happen. Buffalo had 27 forced turnovers last year, including 16 picks. Manning throws two interceptions here and takes five sacks.

San Francisco  – One thing I took away from last week, was not only is Jameis Winston really bad, but the Niners actually looked really good on defense. Cincy could be without their top playmakers in Green and Mixon. If that happens I will have plenty of interest in San Fran. Cincinnati also turned the ball over three times last week, and the pass rush of San Francisco looked strong against Tampa. The price tag is low, the ownership will be low, and the upside is high, that is what we are looking for in a GPP lineup.

Denver Broncos – Denver looked pretty bad against the Raiders. Josh Jacobs dominated them on the ground, which is an aspect that Chicago is still trying to figure out. The running backs for Chicago will primarily be used to catch, and not actually run. Montgomery is a very raw back, lacking the superstar skill-set that other young featured backs possess. Robinson is the main threat, and Mitch looked terrible, against Green Bay. When I say he looked terrible, I actually meant he looked like he didn’t know how to play Football. Denver is in a prime bounce-back spot on the road.
