Fans are tuning into the Thursday night game between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and getting a weird camera angle.

Have you played Madden? Is that how you prefer watching your football? Well then you are probably in heaven for the start of this Thursday night game between Carolina and Tampa Bay.

The situation is due to weather in the area, specifically lightning. With cameramen in hiding during the threat, FOX and NFL Network only have the “Madden” angle, leaving people to wonder what is going on. Of course, the masses then took to social media to go insane about everything that is wrong with the feed.

To that end, broadcaster Joe Buck had this to say during the telecast.

“Put your thumbs to rest, let Twitter have a break,” Buck said.

Let’s see if the network can get the normal camera angles up and running soon. If not, assuredly the millions of fans around the country will calm down and have rational thoughts on the subject.

Meanwhile, this Week 2 game pits a pair of NFC South teams against each other looking for their first wins. The Buccaneers fell 31-17 to the San Francisco 49ers in their opener, while the Panthers dropped a 30-27 decision to the Los Angeles Rams at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.
