Fantasy football lineup advice: Week 2 BOOM or BUST

Week 1 of the 2019 fantasy football season did not disappoint. Our Fantasy football lineup advice played out well, as we saw the Ravens predictably man-handle the Dolphins for 59 points, an underrated Titans team take down the over-hyped Browns, and the Saints pull out a 30-28 win with a 58-yard field goal as time expired on Monday Night Football against the Texans.

There wasn’t any shortage of offense, as 10 different teams put up over 30 points in multiple high-scoring affairs.

We hit a few picks right on the nose, beginning with Lamar Jackson, who threw a career-high five passing touchdowns on his way to over 30 fantasy points.

Filling in for Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler also shined, finishing as the overall RB2 on the week (39.4 points) just behind  Christian McCaffrey. Admittedly, a couple of picks were missed as well, with Stefon Diggs failing to see more than two targets in a blowout win and both Calvin Ridley and David Njoku saving their 2019 fantasy debuts with garbage-time TDs.

"DISCLAIMER: “BOOM or BUST” isn’t exactly a “Start or Sit” column. I identify and provide analysis for players who aren’t a top-tier starting option that I believe will exceed expectations – and also those who will fail to meet them. It should be remembered that these picks are done at the beginning of the week, so better options may surface as the week progresses and we get a better idea on various injuries and player situations. Use your best judgement and keep tabs on news updates around the league up until kickoff on Sunday… Without further ado, let’s dive right into this week’s matchups!"
