The NFL season is fully underway with Week 2’s games taking centerstage, but can you watch NFL RedZone without a subscription?

NFL RedZone is a truly one-of-a-kind invention among all the major sports. The ability to flip from game to game and keep tabs on all teams within scoring range, while also peppering in the biggest highlights from around the league, is truly unparalleled.

For those unwilling to pony up the dough for the full NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL RedZone is a much cheaper alternative that still shows the scoring plays fans want and need to see.

Now that Week 1 is in the rearview mirror, the question is, is there a way to watch NFL RedZone without a subscription?

For the most part, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Sony announced it would give a one-week free trial to all Playstation Vue subscribers, while Sling TV one-upped Sony with a two-week free trial. Most cable providers offered a one-week free trial for Week 1 only.

Verizon was offering NFL RedZone for $9.99 for the whole season, a $25 discount, but that offer has expired. Now it’s the full $35 amount.

There are plenty of ways to stream NFL RedZone in Week 2, which features a variety of high-profile rematches and grudge games, but unfortunately, it appears most of the free one-week trials from Week 1 have already expired.

Even so, $35 is a decent price to be able to basically watch the highlights of each and every game on Sundays. NFL RedZone may not be free anymore on most platforms and devices, but it’s still probably worth the investment for the fans who want to be tuned into every single game and big highlight.
