NFL DFS Week 3: Cash game breakdown

Ezekiel Elliott – FD $8800 DK $8900

I’m not trying to be lazy here honestly but the same analysis for Dak goes here as well – THEY ARE PLAYING THE JV MIAMI DOLPHINS. There is a very realistic game script here where Dak gets them ahead by a lot (with the help of Zeke) and they just run the ball down the Dolphins’ blow hole thus accumulating fantasy points by the boatload.

OK enough bad puns. Zeke projects to be the highest owned running back on this DFS slate on both sites. Bear that in mind as the correlation with Dak isn’t the best (but should be fine).

Christian McCaffrey – FD $8900 DK $8700

I’m sure many of you have heard this nickname before but I shockingly haven’t and I love it – Dairy Sanders. It’s good right?? CMC is hopefully on a seek and destroy mission against the Arizona Cardinals.

They play up in pace which is normally something we consider more for NBA DFS but it’s important here too – you just don’t see it often. Also, as of right now, Cam Newton is not practicing and may not play this week.

It feels a little weird to say this because I WANT to be a Cam truther (but he just makes it so hard) – it’s probably better for McCaffrey that Cam is projected to sit.

Dalvin Cook – FD $8300 DK $7800

My guy Thunder Dan and I are big time Dalvin Cook fans and we think he’s going to do great this week in DFS. Dan is just a wee bit higher on him this week than I am but don’t get me wrong I still love him.

The Raiders haven’t been slouches at all so it’s not so much the match-up but more so the fact that they’re at home where I think they’ll really emphasize running the ball.

The coaching staff has made it clear they want to do that and I think their first two games showcased it’s likely the best course of action to keep the ball out of Kirk Cousins hands. If they limit his pass attempts, they’re probably in an advantageous position.
