Who is Brandi Rhodes: An All Elite Wrestling primer

Brandi Rhodes is All Elite Wrestling’s Chief Branding Officer as well as an AEW wrestler and personality. Her talent and skill are sure to make her thrive in both areas.

Chief Brand(i) Officer. Wrestler. Wife. Dog mom. YouTube content creator. Role model. Brandi Rhodes wears many different hats. Some of you may know her as Eden, former WWE ring announcer, or from appearing on WAGS Atlanta.

Prior to all of that, she was a champion ice skater for 17 years. That dream didn’t pan out and she eloquently tells the raw reason in episode 2 of Road to Fight for the Fallen. She also explains how she found the wrestling business and what being a wrestler means to her.

Rhodes is also a former model and TV anchor. A certain annoying part of the wrestling fan base believe she is only in her current position because of her spouse. They disregard her hard work and passion. Not only does she have her Masters in Broadcast Journalism, she also trains hard as a wrestler. She can cut a heck of a promo.

Rhodes was signed by WWE in 2011, where she had a single match before transitioning to a ring announcer. Since then, she has wrestled worldwide for companies such as Pro Wrestling Magic, TNA/IMPACT, Ring of Honor, DDT Pro and STARDOM. On one tour, Rhodes broke her clavicle along with suffering two separate fractures in Japan.

In her AEW matches, she has very wisely sought out the help of Awesome Kong. Kong has served as a mentor, confidante and extra muscle. Rhodes was also in the all-female Casino Battle Royale. When she isn’t wrestling, she often accompanies her husband to the ring to be his cheerleader, to keep him focused, and at times, to take matters into her own hands.

Rhodes will continue to develop as a wrestler while juggling her role as CBO. There’s no doubt that she is a force to be reckoned with in and outside of the ring.
