A pair of NFC East rivals headline the list of squads that need to come out of Week 4 with a much needed victory.

Time flies when you’re having fun, and it also moves very quickly in the NFL season. Week 4 is set to begin on Thursday, and some teams that are in need of wins probably want time to slow down just a bit.

It may be impossible to win the Super Bowl in September, but you can lose it by putting yourself in an 0-4 or 1-3 hole. Most of the teams on this list will be trying to avoid that fate, and we’ll start right here with an 0-3 squad, the Washington Redskins.

5. Washington Redskins

The Redskins find themselves in deep trouble after an alarming 0-3 start. People may have forgotten that the Redskins jumped out to a huge lead against the Eagles in Philadelphia in Week 1, but they collapsed in that game and have looked terrible ever since.

After the Dallas Cowboys walked all over the Redskins in Week 2, Jay Gruden’s team had a chance to right the ship against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The Redskins couldn’t keep that one close either, with the Bears dominating that game to the tune of a 31-15 loss that wasn’t as competitive as the final score indicated.

Washington hits the road in Week 4 for another division game against newly anointed king of New York Daniel Jones and the Giants. Jones looked very impressive in his first NFL start, but he is still a rookie and the Giants are down Saquon Barkley in this one.

The two teams aren’t that far apart in terms of talent, but the Redskins need to find a way to pick up a road win to get their season going. If Washington falls to 0-4 and gets embarrassed at MetLife Stadium, Gruden could find himself on the hot seat soon.
