4. Mane scores double as Liverpool beat Leicester 4-2

Liverpool have been in sensational form to start the Premier League season and it’s looking unlikely that they will slow down any time soon. The Reds keep finding a way to win and even though their weekend opponents, Leicester, are a strong side it’s hard to see any other result than a Liverpool victory.

Leicester will definitely come and give this game a go as they too like to play an open and exciting brand of soccer. However, they will struggle to deal with the pressure that Liverpool apply on visiting teams at Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers’ side really struggled when Chelsea played a high press against them and if Liverpool do this effectively then they will find plenty of space behind the Foxes’ back line. Then it’s just a matter of putting the ball in the back of the net and Jurgen Klopp’s team have a number of players that do that very well.

This game is perfect for a team like Leicester, who want to play inviting soccer. Liverpool won’t look to keep them out like other sides do and this will allow them time and space on the ball to really have a go at the reigning European champions.

Liverpool have only conceded five league goals this season but they looked incredibly suspect in midweek against Salzburg in the Champions League. Rodgers’ and his coaching staff will look to exploit the defensive frailties which were highlighted in that match and if they do Leicester should find the back of the net.

Vardy will bag a double for the Foxes but Saido Mane will also notch a brace. Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah will find the back of the net to maintain Liverpool’s 100% league record as the Reds run out 4-2 winners.
